I can recommend it to everyone who loves a good mystery dual timelines and multiple POVs. Ive read and enjoyed Eve Chases two previous novels so it was with some excitement that I requested a copy of this her third book. Eve Chase writes with such elegance and beauty as her descriptive writing not only draws you in but allows you to visualise and immerse yourself within the novel.

I love her dual timeline stories about old houses and dysfunctional families with dark secrets in their past. We have three women in this book who do not know where they belong and through each of these womens narratives we hear and feel their. The animals the sounds the sights and textures are so vividly described it makes the forest come alive.

Eve Chase is one of my favourite authors. A new mystery novel from the author of Black Rabbit Hall and The Vanishing of Audrey Wilde. I cant wait to discover more of Eve Chases books.

I need not have worried though because it is brilliant. A dark and gripping family drama that will keep you guessing right to. The Glass House is the third standalone novel by Eve Chase and is as lush rich and suspenseful as her previous books featuring explosive family secrets that threaten to shatter countless lives.

I love her books so much it would be hard to choose a favourite. Her strong use of imagery to emphasise results in vivid description and plants you right in the story. A clever atmospheric mystery which keeps you.

Its August 1971 and Jeannie Harrington decides to relocate her children twelve-year-old Hera and five years old Teddy to Foxcote Manor in the beautiful Forest of Dean after a fire gutted their London home. Its not a fast-paced book more one that is quietly addictive and it drew me right in to the world. I read the story as told to me but I lived through the nuances of them all.

I came to where I started but I breathed a lifetime of a journey. I love stories of family dynamics secrets and lies surprising links between characters all of whom are cast perfectly in their roles. I loved how Eve Chase created a mystical and enchanting atmosphere throughout the story.

Chases writing style is so skilful and spellbinding that its hard not to be in your own little bubble when you read this story. Thank you all for reading. The Glass House by Eve Chase is a book I kept hearing a lot about.

Eve Chase is now one of my favourite authors.
